Ok so the tickets are on sale NOW for "A Devious Mind" and in the first day of putting it up on Face book and on this site my pay site broke due to the amount of people hitting it with payments at the same time, how cool. Its all up and running again so get your tickets now. To say I'm blown away with the response would be some what of an understatement.

Hi All

Sorry its been so long...

I have finally done it I have booked a small theatre in Bedford called the The Shed Theatre and on the 8th May 2009 I will be sharing what I have been planning for the last two years. Its a one man show called " A Devious Mind"

Well after what has been a good month for working on the new stage show and DVD, I'm now off to Dubai which should be fun and the cool bit is my agents Sean and Peter are going as well. With only one show to do and four days left to play should be interesting. Will take some pics and then I must learn how to post them on this here Blog site :-)

Well its been a little time since I last put fingers to keys and there is only one reason, its been manic and that's a good thing... Did the big national wedding fair in London which had a great turn out and what has to be one of the best wedding fashion shows I've ever seen. Got though loads of playing cards that weekend and my hands and throat ached a bit by the end but got some nice bookings out of it which was good. looks like I'm off to Dubai at the end of April for a few days on a trade show stand but will have a couple of extra days so will try and fit in some site seeing as well.

Have been working on the editing of the new DVD and should be only a matter of weeks before its available for a modest fee. A big thank you has to be said to Kate, Mark and Brian for all there help with this project. Oh well off to a show now so talk soon... Dean

Been filming over the last few days for a DVD which will be available for sale soon. The DVD shows some great easy to do magic which you can learn, but don't be fooled by the easy to do bit as this is strong magic with wow factor. This has come about due to the amount of requests I receive asking do I teach magic and as I only take on three students a year it will hopefully fill a void and present some great effects for those looking to learn and gain a great start in the world of Magic.

The DVD called "Confessions of a Magician" will show seven great effects being performed then explained step by step so you and follow along with the DVD. Not only are the effects explained in detail there is also some real world performance tips to help you get the most powerful of reactions. So watch this space for a release date.

The Car and a birthday card

Back in the office today so trying to catch up on paper work but just had a new magic book put on my desk and its crying out for me to read it.

I had my first Birthday card today for the 9th feb 08... and it had money in it great...

New Effects

Been a busy boy over the last few days as well as the corporate work I have been breaking in some new effects, which I have been working on for a little while now. They final looked ready to share with the world but the proof as they say is always in the pudding. So I packed them in my case ready for a show I had yesterday with a drinks manufacture and I have to say the response was great. I must admit its a great feeling when you hear a positive reaction to something you may have been working on for months as well as a bit of a relief. Looking forward to my next show so I can do them again, not long to wait as its tomorrow. It's fair to say I'm very happy in my work.

Had fun on the 12th & 13th.

Had a good weekend with a corporate event on the Saturday for Barclays Bank which was great fun and at a great venue to boot (it was like being at Hogwarts). Its the second year that they have booked me so was a great opportunity to show off some new effects that I had been working on. I am happy to say I think they hit the spot. My last gig on the Sunday was a surprise 50th birthday in London for Mrs Castronovo who seamed bowled over with shock when all her family and friends jumped out at Enzo's restaurant shouting "Surprise". A top job done by Vince and his brothers on the organisation as there was not a dull moment throughout the whole night. My thanks to them all for making me feel so welcome, it was like being one of the family.

Wedding fairs for the start of 2008

The start of a new year for me always means wedding fairs we've had Knebworth Barns on the 6th January which was packed out. I will be at Chilford Hall on the 3rd Feb and the national wedding show on the 22-24 Feb at London's Olympia with my Agent Allsmart Entertaiments so do come and say hello and I promise to show you some great new effects for 2008..

I have also been a putting the hours in on my new one man stage show which will be going ahead this year. Just before Christmas we had a photo shoot for the poster and even if I do say so myself its looking good.. the poster that is not me.

So here it is my new website, many thanks to Andy Beach for all his hard work and putting up with me on the build of this site. So my own little bit of cyber space and a page where I can write about what I get up to and who I meet along the way. Well 2007 has been a great year for me packed with great memories but December 07 was manic only just now catching my breath. Got to perform for Jamie Oliver his wife Jools and their family. At another gig I got to meet most of the Arsenal football team only thing is I'm not really up on the whole football thing so didn't know who they were until about half way though the gig Oh dear. We all had a great time I even ended up in a conga with many of the players at one stage which was a bit random but a great laugh, a top bunch of blokes who seemed to love magic which is always nice...
